ExxonMobil Refinery Tests Emergency Alarm System

The ExxonMobil Billings refinery will be conducting tests of its emergency warning alarm system on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Neighbors will hear various tones throughout the day for fire alarm, vapor release, shelter-in-place and all-clear notices. These tests are necessary to ensure all the refinery’s safety and emergency response systems are working properly. Refinery public address announcements will be made to indicate that it “is only a test.”

We apologize for any concern or inconvenience and local emergency responders have been contacted to inform them of the testing. Neighbors with questions or concerns can call the ExxonMobil Community Hotline at 657-5411.
