For those who were naughty or nice, the Lockwood Fire Department helped Santa make a stop in the Lockwood area at 8 different locations. From toys to food to books and dolls, Santa visited with Lockwood residents on Saturday Dec. 13th during the day. Check out a few of the pictures captured and taken during his visits.
Children from ages 2 up to 15 years of age came to visit Santa as he made his way through Lockwood starting at the mobile home park to the parks and various streets with the end of Santa ending up at the Lockwood Fire Station.
Many of the gifts, candy and food were donated by local merchants and businesses. Among the businesses was ExxonMobil providing toys and such to the children who came to visit. It was noted that First Interstate Bank will be joining the event next year.
“The Fire Department has been providing a way for Santa Claus to come and visit Lockwood children and toddlers for over 20 years,” said Lockwood Fire Chief John Staley.
