The Lockwood Water and Sewer District announced a public meeting on Thursday April 19th, 2018 at 7pm to obtain public comments regarding the water system in the Lockwood area. Here is what was announced.

For the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding the water system upgrades recommended in the 2018 Water Master Plan Update. The meeting will include a presentation on the purpose of the Master Plan, review of the existing water system, and potential water system infrastructure improvements (proposed projects), including cost estimates, its estimated impact to user rates per household, and possible sources of funding for the highest priority projects. The Environmental Assessment and Environmental Checklist are available for public review at the LWSD Office, and will be discussed at the meeting. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding the proposed project(s) and environmental concerns, if any. Comments may be given orally at the meeting or submitted in writing after the meeting before 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 14thto the Lockwood Water & Sewer District, 1644 Old Hardin Road, Billings, MT 59101.
