On Tuesday, Yellowstone County Sheriff Detective Troy Charbonneau was recognized during the county commissioners’ regular board meeting, for 20 years of service and congratulated upon his retirement as a member of the Sheriff’s department.
He announced that he plans to join the Laurel Ambulance Service beginning Oct. 5 and start paramedic school. In lauding his service for the county, Sheriff Mike Linder noted that Charbonneau, in addition to his many other achievements – especially as a Detective Specializing in Crimes Against Children – he retained his EMT status, a training that was invaluable in his law enforcement duties.
