About Lockwood Irrigation District: 

A Yellowstone County irrigation district established in 1907 serving the community of Lockwood.  Irrigation water pumped from the Yellowstone River to two main canals. The lower canal is pumped 60′ and the upper canal is pumped 100′ above the pump house.

The Lockwood Irrigation District has their monthly meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Lockwood Water & Sewer District Building off Old Hardin Road.
